Hi, my name is Miriam Yiannakis and I provide support to the Global Nutrition Cluster on daily operations. I specifically support the thirteen working groups, knowledge management, reporting, and monitoring and evaluation. In addition, I provide leadership and management support as part of my role on the Programme Leadership Team and the Operations Management Group.
I have a bachelor’s degree in human nutrition and a master’s degree in project management. I have worked in international development and humanitarian work since 1998 in various countries in Africa and Asia, and in global leadership positions. I love working across sectors and building partnerships with individuals and organisations who are working to address the root causes of poverty and malnutrition in all its forms, around the world.
I currently live on a rural island in Greece with my husband, our two teenage children and our beloved dog.
