During this 90-minute webinar we will focus on sharing progress and lessons learned from 2013-2023 to scale coverage, quality and sustainability of severe wasting detection and treatment globally, reflecting on country-specific progress from Burkina Faso and the Philippines, and discussing global priorities for action and learning to ensure further scaling in the next decade. There will also be a time for Q&A
Panelist reflections: As led by the co-moderators, Panelists will share their reflections on the study by sharing practical insight and examples of progress made in scaling up wasting treatment.
● Country-level panelists will discuss examples of scaling success from their contexts/perspective.
● Donor/global panelist(s) will discuss their role(s) in supporting governments to address ‘opportunities not to miss’ and/or current gaps in general.
● All Panelists will articulate the progress they want to see in the next ~10 years to 2030 (to align with the SDGs).
Interactive exchange: Panelists will engage with each other and webinar participants via moderated Q&A. This interaction will lead all toward reflection on priorities for action and learning, specifically related to supporting scaling efforts within their respective contexts, roles, and work planning.
The webinar will be in English with simultaneous translation into French, Spanish and Arabic
