Mid Year Report 2024

January to July 2024

Humanitarian Response Plan (HRP) 2024
Current Challenges
  • The absence of a dedicated information manager (IM) has resulted in poor data collection and an underuse of some coordination tools.
  • Underfunding of nutrition activities leading to significant gaps and shortages in RUTF/RUSF ;
  • Lack of qualified human resources in the nutritional units, especially the hospital, resulting in the deterioration of SAM Managment quality;
  • Lack of continuity of care marked by the low coverage of moderate malnutrition care programs;
  • Recent floods (September 2024) causing closure of MAS treatment units and overload of some others;
