HelpAge International: I go to sleep on an empty stomach

This article is about Improving the inclusion of older people in humanitarian nutrition planning and response. In new research developed by HelpAge International, they recommend some actions that can make a difference to upholding the right to food for older people and ensuring their access to nutrition support in humanitarian emergencies. During times of crisis, the right of older people to safe and adequate food is at risk as they are often overlooked in humanitarian response efforts. To accompany this report, another publication was developed, Key ways to include older people in humanitarian nutrition responses that provides ways nutrition cluster practitioners can ensure that older people are included in the response.
